Registration for BarCamp Diaspora is still free! If you're not sure what a BarCamp is, here's a definition to help you out:"A BarCamp is simply an ‘unconference’ - an ad-hoc gathering of people with the simple desire to share and learn in an open environment. Unlike a conference, at a barcamp everyone is both a speaker and a participant. The c […]
If I took a vow on life That I’d love you for all time Would you let me in your heart? Would you let us never part? If for you I stole the stars And I wrapped them in my love Placed this firm upon your heart Would you let me hear your heart? If my heart echoed your pulse And all others’ words were false Kismet bid our love take flight Would you let me be you […]

I was at Web 2.0 and Web 2 Open this week in New York. Two keynotes from two good friends are now online and I wanted to share them with you. The first is from Baratunde Thurston. I will warn you now that you are going to laugh out loud at this, but if you really pay [...]
Over the weekend in chicago, a 15 year old was found hit (with a car), beaten (with a baseball bat), shot (in the head) and burned…for no reason. This is apparently the 35th seemingly random teen murder in chicago this year (don’t quote me on the time frame). And yes, I said random because these kids apparently have NO ties to gangs. And some of them, though drop outs, were relatively good kids.
I’m posting this story because I have younger siblings and I’d like them (and others like them) to realize that there is a very crazy world out there and that simply staying out of trouble is not enough. People have to be extra vigilant about where they go, who they talk to, and who their friends are. For more on this story, please click the link below:

I just discovered a pretty interesting blog, Pillow talk with a sassy sexpert. It talks a lot about sex, sexuality and relationships. The post that got my attention was about good music to have sex to, and it got me thinking about this song by Lil’ Rob. I found the song on youtube– enjoy it below:
I also suggested Aaliyah’s “Rock the Boat”…too old you think?
In the process of searching for this song, I realized that youtube had soooo much to offer in terms of creating a community and sharing information! Besides having a ‘channel’ where you could share all your videos, and a favorites section where you could save all the videos you liked (and share that too), there’s also a place to create a playlist. There’s also some sort of HTML generator that generates the code for you to share your playlist on your website or blog.
Now, though I kinda knew all this nifty stuff existed on youtube, I only just really took an interest in it about 5 minutes ago, so I’ll mess around with it and share what I figure out with you.
Wow, how do you like this post? Sex and technology. Maybe I should start combining sex and technology more– we’ll see how that affects traffic to my blog. Ciao!
Ha! Politics is something else these days lol. If you’ve been following the debates and elections even remotely OR if you love Star Wars, you might get a chuckle out of this. Then again, if you’re a Hillary supporter, maybe not. Thanks for posting this on your site C.C. Chapman — you rock!
Is it really spam? Hell yeah it’s really spam!
